DAY OF ACTION IN HARRISBURG – OCT 9, 2024
Two busloads of passionate supporters joined us, and we engaged with over a dozen legislators, sharing our vision for a future with our award-winning, affordable public water!
A group of leaders had the incredible opportunity to meet with the Governor’s staff, make our needs and wishes known, and deliver our over 1500 petition signatures.
We held a press conference in the Capitol Rotunda, where our message to #SaveCWA and stop water privatization echoed loud and clear!
We also staffed two tables, connecting with the public and elected officials and staff while handing out fresh Philly pretzels and refreshing CWA Water!

"The people have a right to clean air, pure water, and to the preservation of the natural, scenic, historic and esthetic values of the environment. Pennsylvania's public natural resources are the common property of all the people, including generations yet to come. As trustee of these resources, the Commonwealth shall conserve and maintain them for the benefit of all the people."
